Toe Nail
22nd August 2026
Today was the first match of the fall season, we lost 1-2. Matt's farewell match as well. We did okay for the whole match but the ref was a disaster. I got my toe nail flipped, it looks so bad. I've experienced toe nail issues but this is the worst by far. We had a social afterward, had beers and food. I was voted as the player of the season by teammates, as well as the top scorer for the spring season. Now I get on very well with team mates, unlike the first few months where I was shy. One of the biggest achievement for the time in Denmark is that I can now communicate in English without hesitation, fear even with native speakers. I was not like this at all at first, now I can express freely not only in the office but outside as well. Isak drove me home as I couldn't wear my shoes. Now it's time to cut a bit more flipped nail, put a bandaid on and take a rest.
